Agreement Terms

1. Duration & Termination

This is a month-to-month agreement with no minimum term.

A 30-day written notice (to hello@saltyspaces.com.au) is required to terminate.

Salty Spaces reserves the right to terminate immediately for:

Non-payment (after 14 days and 3 attempts to resolve)

Breach of this agreement or office policy

Disruptive, unlawful or inappropriate conduct

2. Membership Inclusions

Your Private Office Membership includes:

Lockable private office for exclusive use

24/7 secure access

Electricity, cleaning & high-speed internet

Use of Salty Spaces business address

Mail handling

Access to kitchen, coffee machine & lounge areas

Community events & networking

4 hours/month boardroom access (non-cumulative)

Offices 1 & 2 only: 4 hours/month private booth access

Reception support (during staffed hours)

3. Fit-Out & Furniture

Fit-Out

Members are welcome to customise and fit out their office space as desired, including furnishings, shelving, artwork, and temporary fixtures.

All changes must be non-structural and safe.

The office must be returned to its original condition at the end of the membership.

If restoration is not completed by the member, costs will be invoiced for any necessary repairs.

Furniture

All private office memberships are BYO furniture and equipment unless otherwise arranged.

Salty Spaces may offer furniture for hire or loan with written agreement.

4. Office Conduct

Members must:

Respect the space and its community

Maintain a professional, clean, and safe environment

Ensure visitors behave appropriately and are accompanied or pre-approved

Avoid loud or disruptive behaviour; meetings should be held in the boardroom or pods

Not sublet, share, or assign their office without written permission

Strictly prohibited:

Smoking or vaping in the building

Sleeping overnight or during the day

Illegal, immoral, or unsafe business activities

5. Payments

Membership is billed monthly in advance via invoice

Monthly cost for this office is $1600 +GST

Additional usage (printing, catering, extra bookings) is billed weekly

A $10 fee applies for failed payments

Lost keys or access cards are billable at replacement cost

Membership fees may be adjusted with 30 days’ notice

6. Boardroom & Booth Access

Members receive 4 hours/month boardroom use (non-cumulative)

Offices 1 & 2 also receive 4 hours/month private booth access

Bookings via Cobot System

Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice; otherwise time is deducted or charged

7. Liability & Insurance

Salty Spaces is not liable for loss, theft, injury, or damage on the premises

Members are responsible for their own contents, public liability, and business insurance

Members are encouraged to take appropriate cybersecurity precautions

8. Shared Space Etiquette

Keep shared areas clean and tidy

Place used dishes in dishwasher

Clean coffee machine after use

Store and label food in the fridge neatly

Dispose of rubbish properly

Use indoor voice levels; move longer convos to meeting rooms

Bikes/scooters must be stored in designated racks—not in stairwells or walkways

9. Modifications to Agreement

Salty Spaces may modify this agreement with reasonable notice. All updates will be sent via email and will take immediate effect unless otherwise specified.
